Fresh 2023 in from the Welsh Natural Wine trailblazers, Ancre Hills. Based out in Monmouthshire in a 12-hectare estate the teamwork organically and biodynamically to produce unique, terroir-driven wines without the use of any additives, herbicides or pesticides!

Nicely crazy lightly sparkling red, displaying a sour cherry and red fruit jam nose that plays out on the palate too, with a slightly herbal back-note. It reminds us of a light Lambrusco Rosso. A real sweet & sour character to it, with great freshness. The new vintage’s juice was blended with previous vintage base wine whilst still fermenting. Primary fermentation finishes in bottle producing a lightly fizzy wine of between 2 and 3 bar pressure.
